What we collect
- When you sign up: your name, email, phone number and company name, and the trades and states you pick.
- When you change your settings: your trades, states, item words and whether alerts are paused.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, subscription status and billing contact details, never your full card number.
- When you email us: whatever you include in the message.
- Website visits: our host keeps standard technical logs (like IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To send the alerts you subscribed to and match them to your trades, states and items.
- To run billing, your free trial and cancellations.
- To answer your questions and send important notices about your account or these policies.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run Bid Scope Alerts for us:
- Stripe: payments and billing.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, and storage for your alert settings.
- Our email provider: to deliver alerts and replies.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you're a subscriber and for a reasonable time after, to handle billing questions and our records. Ask us to delete it anytime and we will, except what we have to keep for tax or legal reasons.
Your choices
- Change your settings or pause alerts anytime from the Manage my alerts link in every email.
- Cancel from the Billing link, or email us.
- Ask for a copy of your information, a correction or deletion at support@bidscopealerts.com.
Security
Card details stay with Stripe. Your Manage my alerts link is signed so it can't be guessed or forged for someone else's email. No system is perfectly secure, but we only keep what we need.
Children
Bid Scope Alerts is a business service and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and email subscribers.
